Congratulations to our Trenton Creative Network Recipients

In February 2025, Isles launched the $10,000 Trenton Creative Network Grant that awarded 4 artists projects that align with the Creek to Canal Creative District strategic goals.​ We received a number of strong applications from artists and creative businesses dedicated to enhancing the Creek to Canal strategic goals. After a thorough review process, we are excited to share the four selected projects, which reflect creativity, diversity, inclusion, community engagement, and sustainability:

Raven - Creek to Canvas

A community art project transforming Roberto Clemente Park into a creative hub through interactive workshops, eco-inspired artmaking, and a collaborative mural. The project will conclude with a final celebration and permanent public art installation.

Habiyb Shu'Aib - Trenton Through The Lens

A photo walk inviting creatives and community members to document the beauty, history, and culture of Downtown Trenton. The project will highlight the city's rich history, vibrant street murals, and local businesses while fostering creative expression and cultural appreciation. The walk will provide a platform for artists to document the city’s evolving landscape, share their perspectives, and strengthen connections within the creative community while also highlighting Trenton.

Phillip McConnell - Art All Night: The Documentary 

A film capturing the story of Trenton’s beloved Art All Night festival. The documentary highlights the event’s evolution, the people behind it, and its resilience through moments of challenge and change.

Joseph Deacon - Sky's The Limit

A youth-led creative tech program by The Diverse Learner Foundation, training Trenton youth in drone piloting, digital storytelling, and entrepreneurship. The project includes aerial documentation of Old Trenton and culminates in a multimedia community exhibit.
